16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women and Girls
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is an international campaign to raise awareness and generate action to end violence against women and girls in communities around the world.
The 16 Days Campaign happens globally from November 25 (International Day Against Violence Against Women) to December 10 (International Human Rights Day) and links local and global activism to amplify feminist voices and secure accountability for women’s human rights by bridging movements, increasing awareness, ensuring prevention, and demanding accountability. This campaign is underpinned by feminist values, human rights principles and the belief that a world without violence is possible.
Over the next #16Days, VOICE will be featuring 4 topics from our #WeMustDoBetter report that we find essential to the #16Days campaign.
