GBV Coordinator, Moldova

VOICE is in search of a GBV Coordinator who will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of project initiatives and partnership engagement support. The Coordinator will be responsible for efficient and effective organization and coordination of initiatives ensuring the project cycle is implemented smoothly and partners receive responsive, timely support. The Coordinator will also ensure proper documentation and reporting to VOICE of initiatives and partnership engagement activities.

Responsibilities / Outcomes

  • Coordinate and provide oversight for all project initiatives and partnership engagements
  • Serve as a bridge between the VOICE team and partners related to the administration and implementation of timely support and effective initiatives including complex assessments
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed and in compliance with VOICE and partner processes and policies
  • Document and report project initiative progress
  • Respond to requests for information from VOICE team related to partnership engagement and needs
  • Track grant initiatives and partnerships within the VOICE Moldova office
  • Contribute to the development of efficient organizational processes, procedures and systems

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Deep commitment to VOICE’s core values and ability to model those values in relationships and communities we serve
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive work experience in project management cycle and partnership engagement
  • Strong familiarity with gender based violence prevention and response programming
  • Capable problem solver with the ability to find creative solutions to achieve successful outcome
  • Organized and efficient; able to prioritize tasks and is self-motivated
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team and with partners
  • Experience writing different types of reports and maintaining project spreadsheets
  • Romanian language fluency required. Strong English language skills required. Russian language skills beneficial but not required
  • Ability to travel within Moldova approximately 35 %
