About Emma Fulu
She has a PhD in Gender Studies from the University of Melbourne.
Past work? While she was based in South Africa, she managed the 25 million global program What Works to prevent Violence against Women and Girls. Before that, she worked at the United Nations, Multi-Country Study on Men and Violence.
Areas of interest?
She has a special interest in the the prevention of violence against women and girls.
She has been published widely in academic journals like The Lancet, blogs for th Huffington post UK, and is the author of “Domestic Violence in Asia: Globalization, Gender, and Islam in the Maldives.”
